This time starts from Devshayani Ekadashi and ends on Devuthani Ekadashi of Kartik Shukla Paksha. Chaturmas coincides with the sleeping period of the gods. God’s bed On Ekadashi, wake up early in the morning and take bath. Wear yellow clothes for worship on this day. Meditate on Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi and take a pledge to fast. After this, clean the puja room and place the idol or picture of Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi. Offer yellow clothes, yellow flowers, incense, lamp and Tulsi leaves to Lord Vishnu and worship him as per the rituals. Offer God his favorite things.
