According to officials, “Daughter, Priyanka (19), and mother, Shakuntala Devi (46), allegedly died by suicide after alleged threats and harassment by a neighbour in Dalavai Kodihalli, Malavalli taluk, Mandya district. The family members were preparing for Priyanka’s marriage. A case has been registered at Halaguru police station.”
As per Mandya District Superintendent of Police (SP), “Police visited the spot and inspected, and an investigation is underway.”
