Delhi School Alert: After 9 major schools of Delhi received bomb threat emails on Monday morning, students and staff were immediately evacuated safely. Police and bomb disposal team immediately reached the spot and investigation is underway.
Delhi Schools Bomb Threat Alert: This morning many big schools of Delhi were shocked after receiving bomb threats. At least 9 schools received threatening emails between 8:30 am and 9:00 am. After this, the police and school administration immediately evacuated the students and staff safely. Every school is being thoroughly investigated and the situation is being closely monitored. This incident has come to light at a time when the number of false bomb threats is continuously increasing in big cities.
Police and bomb squad on the spot
After Delhi Police received information about the threats, the Bomb Disposal Squad and Fire Brigade team immediately reached the spot. During the security check, complete inspection of the buildings and campuses of all the schools is being done. Police said that the investigation is still going on and the team is fully prepared to immediately deal with any possible threat.

The schools that have received bomb threats include Loreto Convent, Delhi Cantonment, Venkateshwara Global School, Rohini, Cambridge School’s Srinivaspuri and New Friends Colony Campus, The Indian School, Sadiq Nagar, CM Shri School, Rohini, DTEA School, INA, Bal Bharti School, Rohini and Manav Sthali School, New Rajinder Nagar.
Such threats have come before in Delhi also
The number of false bomb threats is continuously increasing in Delhi. Earlier on January 29, five schools had received threatening emails, which were later found to be false. On January 28, a threat was also received in the Dwarka Court premises, which later proved to be false. Police have already warned that strict action will be taken against those found behind the false threats.
