Bhopal: A case of rape has been filed against former BJYM leader Jeet Nishode by his live-in partner. The victim alleges that Nishode kept her with him for about two years on the pretext of marriage and during this time both of them even got married in a temple.

On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case in Shahpura police station and started investigation.

The victim told the police that she had been in contact with Jeet Nishode for a long time. Despite his wife being alive, Nishode had brought her to live with him and had assured that he would soon divorce her and marry her publicly. He got married in the temple due to pressure from the victim.

The victim says that when she informed the accused about her pregnancy, Nishode threw her out of the house and distanced herself from him. After this the victim reached the local police station and lodged a complaint and demanded justice.

According to SI Sangeeta Kajle, Jeet Nishode is currently living in Shahpura Multi area and doing personal work. Police have registered the case and the accused will be arrested soon.

It is noteworthy that a few days ago an obscene video of Jeet Nishode had gone viral on the internet media. After this the Bharatiya Janata Party expelled him from the party. Now with this new incident coming to light, the matter has become more serious.

Police say that further legal action is being taken on the basis of the victim’s statement and available evidence.
