New Delhi: The Ministry of Education (MoE) has released the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025 rankings. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan shared the NIRF ranking 2025 list for top colleges across the country during an event. The ranking of the colleges and universities is in 16 categories, which include engineering, management, medicine, university, law, research, agriculture and others.
This year, the ministry of education has introduced more stringent rules and also added more parameters for evaluation and ranking of the institutes. Moreover, negative marking has also been introduced for the retraction of research papers.
NIRF 2025 Overall Ranking
NIRF ranking in 16 categories
The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) will rank colleges and universities in a total of 16 categories which include overall university, college, engineering, management, pharmacy, law, medical, architecture, dental, innovation, agriculture and allied sectors, research institutions, open universities, skill universities, and state-funded public universities.
