Why was Salman Khan’s Battle of Galwan postponed?
There is a possibility of delay in the release of Salman Khan’s most awaited war film Battle of Galwan. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the reason for the delay is the ongoing re-shooting of some scenes, which is taking longer than the team initially expected. It is being told that both Salman and director Apoorva Lakhia are focusing on increasing the impact of the film’s story, due to which the production is taking more time. Fans were eagerly waiting for its release in April, but according to recent reports, the release date has been extended due to re-shooting of the film and some requirements. Now speculations are rife that the filmmakers are focusing on releasing it on Independence Day. It is being said that now it will be released on 14th August on the occasion of Independence Day this year. However, there is no official confirmation from the manufacturers yet.

Chitrangada Singh is in the lead role in the film Battle of Galwan, produced by Salman Khan Films and directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The teaser of the film was launched on Salman’s 60th birthday i.e. 27 December 2025. After this, the song Matribhoomi from the film was also released, which was liked a lot on social media. Talking about the story of the film, it is based on a violent conflict between Indian and Chinese soldiers on the night of 15-16 June 2020 in the Galwan Valley of eastern Ladakh. In this, 20 Indian soldiers were martyred and the Chinese army also suffered heavy losses, but the fight was fought with sticks and sticks without any firing. Nagzilla is a high-fantasy comedy film directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba and produced under the banner of Dharma Productions and Mahavir Jain Films. The movie also stars Ravi Kishan.
