NEET UG Counseling 2025 round 2: NEET UG Round 2 is a big update for students waiting for counseling. The registration process of Round-2 on behalf of the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) starts from 4 September 2025. If you do not participate in round-1 or want to upgrade the seat now, you can apply online by visiting the official website of MCC.

How long can you register?

According to the new schedule, the last date date to apply for Round-2 has been kept on 9 September 2025. The facility of payment will be available by 3 pm on the same day.

Choice filling and locking

  • The process of choice filling will run from 5 September to 9 September. At the same time, on September 9, from 4 pm to 11:55 pm, candidates will be able to lock their choice.

Seat allotment and result

  • The seat allotment processing will be held on 10 and 11 September.
  • The seat allotment result of Round-2 will be released on 12 September 2025.

College reporting after seat allotment

Candidates who will have a seat allot will have to report to their allotted college between 13 September and 19 September 2025. Subsequently, the data verification of the candidates joining the colleges will be done on 20 and 21 September.

What is the update about seat matrix and new seats?

NMC (National Medical Commission) has released information about new recorded or increased MBBS seats in medical colleges across the country. Colleges where seats have increased after round-1, they have been asked to update these new seats on the INTRAMCC portal for round-2 counseling. If a college shows different extra seats from the NMC matrix, then such seats can also be canceled.
