PM Kisan: Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has emerged as a big relief for crores of farmers of the country. Eligible farmers can contact the revenue officers or village patwaris of their area. Apart from this, registration can also be done by visiting the nearest Common Service Center (CSC). If you yourself are tech savvy, you can also do ‘self-registration’ by visiting the PM-Kisan portal.
You will need some important documents while applying. This includes proof of your citizenship, Aadhaar card, bank account details and most importantly, documents showing ownership of land. Without these documents the application process will not be considered complete, hence it would be wise to keep them ready in advance.

If you want to apply from home, the process is very transparent. First of all you have to go to the official website of PM-Kisan. There in the ‘Farmer Corner’ section you will see the option of ‘New Farmer Registration’. As soon as you click on it, a new page will open.
Here you have to verify whether you are from a rural area or an urban area. After this select your Aadhaar number and state, then fill the captcha code and click on the ‘Search’ button. If you do not already have a record in the database, the system will ask you if you want to register yourself? As soon as you select ‘Yes’ option here, the registration form will open. Fill in your personal and banking information correctly in this form and ‘Save’. In this way your application process will be completed and you will join the race to get the 22nd installment.
