The police have unravelled the mystery behind the sensational Chhattisgarh murder case, where the body of a young man was found in a parked truck in Raipur’s Indraprastha Colony.

The deceased has been identified as Kishore Paikara. A Delhi-based lawyer and his wife have been taken into custody in the case and were being brought to Raipur.

The case revolves around a property dispute. As per Jagran.com, Kishore Paikara had decided to sell his house and informed lawyer Ankit Upadhyay about it. Ankit struck a deal for Rs 50 lakh but told Kishore that the house had been sold for only Rs 30 lakh. Later, Kishore discovered the truth and started demanding an additional Rs 10 lakh.

Ankit refused to pay the extra Rs 10 lakh and the dispute escalated to the point where Ankit, with the help of his wife Shivani, decided to kill Kishore. Two other people were also involved in the conspiracy and they have been arrested by the police from Raipur.

Ankit executed the murder with full planning. After killing Kishore, the accused placed his body in a suitcase filled with cement slurry and left it inside a truck. During the investigation, Raipur Police sought assistance from Delhi Police. Ankit and his wife Shivani were arrested in Delhi and are being brought to Raipur. The police are interrogating the suspects and trying to collect more evidence.

Ankit’s father is a retired ASI of Chhattisgarh Police. While reviewing CCTV footage from Indraprastha Colony, the police spotted Ankit’s wife Shivani, where she could be seen following a car in which two of the accused were carrying Kishore’s body to place it inside the truck.
