T20 World Cup 2026 Opening Ceremony Live: Defending champions India will start their T20 World Cup campaign against the USA at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Before the much-awaited match, a grand opening ceremony will be held at the venue.
The ceremony will feature the tournament trophy, which will be welcomed by ICC Chairman Jay Shah and former India captain Rohit Sharma, who led the Men in Blue to the title in 2024. They will be joined by 20 young ambassadors representing every competing team, who together officially launch the tournament.
The ceremony will start at 6 PM with Rishab Sharma, Shivamani, Badshah and Nora Fatehi taking the centrestage at the Wankhede Stadium.
