A case of sexual harassment of a female dog has come to light in Kandivali East, Mumbai. On the complaint of a social worker, Samta Nagar police arrested the accused Sanjay Gaur. The dog was treated at Parel Animal Hospital.
Female Dog Sexual Abuse: A very shameful and heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Kandivali East area of Mumbai. Samta Nagar police has arrested a 40-year-old man on charges of sexually assaulting a female dog. This incident is said to have happened on 1st February.
Social worker saw a heart-wrenching scene
According to the FIR, a local social worker was returning from her uncle’s house on February 1. Meanwhile, he saw a crowd of people near a drain near Lokhandwala Complex. When she reached there, she saw a man lying in the drain with a female dog.
The female dog was moaning in pain
The social worker told that the female dog was moaning in pain and was in a very scared state. There were serious injury marks on her private parts, making it clear that she had been molested. After the incident, the social worker immediately took the injured dog to the Animal Hospital in Parel. Doctors treated him there. After medical examination, doctors confirmed that the dog had been sexually assaulted.
Accused Sanjay Gaur arrested
After treatment, the social worker informed the entire incident to Samta Nagar police. The police took the matter seriously and started investigation. Police have identified the accused as Sanjay Gaur, whose age is said to be 40 years. An FIR has been registered against the accused under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS). Police are investigating the matter further.
