Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed the ‘Chief Minister Banner’ program of NCC Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh organized at the Chief Minister’s residence on Friday. He said that such programs provide an important opportunity to strengthen discipline, leadership ability, organizational skills and the spirit of national service among the youth. The Chief Minister appealed to the youth to actively participate in the development of the state by using their energy and talent with responsibility and dedication.

NCC Republic Day Contingent Honors and Achievements

The Chief Minister congratulated Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh Directorate for winning one gold and two silver medals in the Best NCC Cadets Competition at the Republic Day Camp (RDC) held in New Delhi. Cadets from 17 directorates across the country participated in this camp, in which Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh Directorate performed best till date and secured third position. While felicitating the NCC Republic Day contingent, the Chief Minister appreciated the dedication, hard work and continuous efforts of the cadets, instructors and officers.

Chief Minister banner to Jabalpur NCC Group Headquarters

The Chief Minister presented the Best Inter Group Chief Minister Banner to NCC Group Headquarters, Jabalpur for the training year 2025-26. The Chief Minister himself honored the cadets who performed excellently in the NCC camp organized in Delhi by wearing medals. Besides, the cadets participating in the Republic Day camp were also given checks of Rs 1 lakh, 75 thousand and 50 thousand as prizes for first, second and third place respectively.

Cultural presentations and experiences shared in the program

During the programme, NCC cadets presented Nari Shakti group song, while NSS cadets created an inspiring atmosphere by singing NSS songs. PM Medal winner Senior Under Officer Vishal Singh also shared his experiences of the Republic Day camp. The Chief Minister wrote good wishes for NCC in the visitor’s book and wished all the medal winners a bright future. At the beginning of the program, the Chief Minister welcomed the cadets and NSS volunteers by showering flowers and the cadets saluted him.

He said that the Republic Day celebrations of 2026 were dedicated to women empowerment, in which for the first time a woman officer led the male contingent of the paramilitary force. Felt proud to see 23 daughters of Madhya Pradesh marching in the Republic Day parade.
