Sometimes a journey is not just a means to reach the destination, but it becomes a story of memories which people remember for years. The scent of flowers, colorful balloons, a coupe decorated with rose petals and a message expressing love. As if the most romantic scene of a movie is going on. But this time this scene was not seen on the screen of a cinema hall, but in the first class air-conditioned compartment of a moving train. As soon as its visual surfaced on social media, it immediately became a topic of discussion, debate and joke.
This incident took place on July 6 in the Nandigram train that left from Jalna railway station in Maharashtra. It was reported that a newly married couple hired the services of a decoration company to give their first class air-conditioned coupe a special travel look. Before the departure of the train, the compartment was decorated with balloons, flowers, thousands of rose petals and messages of love. When its visuals reached social media, someone called it a honeymoon cabin, while someone called it a moving love story.
However, this romantic scene did not please the Indian Railway Administration. South Central Railway officials considered this a serious lapse in security arrangements. According to officials, the decoration company reached the first class compartment of the train at Jalna station without any authorized permission. Railway administration says that such entry of outsiders without permission is a serious matter from security point of view.
After this incident, the travel ticket examiner on duty has been suspended with immediate effect. Besides, orders have also been given for a departmental inquiry into the entire matter. The investigation will find out how the outsider was allowed to access the first class compartment and who is responsible for this negligence. Officials have clarified that appropriate action will be taken against the culprits after the investigation is completed.
On the other hand, the decoration service company says that the first class coupe was already reserved in the name of the couple. The company says that its team had already arrived and decorated the coupe. He also says that he was not aware that any separate government permission was required for this type of decoration. It was told that the couple reached Jalna by road from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and boarded the train from there.
As soon as this matter came to light, there was a flood of reactions from people on social media. Some people said that when the couple had duly booked the private compartment, then what could be the objection in decorating it as per their choice. Many people believed that instead of taking action against the employees, Railways should start providing paid facility of such decoration. Some people even said that the suspended employee should be honored instead of being punished because it did not harm anyone.
On the other hand, many people also protested against this incident. He said that such decoration in public transport is against the rules and security arrangements cannot be compromised in any way. Some people also raised the demand for strict action against both the couple and the employees concerned.
However, at present this matter is no longer limited to just a romantic decoration. This has sparked a new debate about the balance between public order, safety rules and personal freedom. Now everyone’s eyes are on the departmental investigation, so that it can be clear to what extent the rules were ignored in this unique story of love and who is ultimately responsible.
