If your Vata and Pitta are disturbed, then its direct effect shows on your face and acne starts appearing on the face. Those who have excessive increase in Pitta and Vata suffer from the problem of acne on their face. Similarly, if there is hormonal imbalance then acne can occur on the face. Especially women whose periods do not come on time.

Apart from this, if you are eating too much oil, spices and outside food then this is also a big reason for acne on the face. Similarly, lack of water is also the reason for acne on the face. Eat as much healthy and good food as you want. If you are drinking less water then problem of acne may occur. It is very important to keep the stomach cool, this only benefits the skin.

How to cure increased Vata and Pitta?

To balance the increased Vata and Pitta, special emphasis is given in Ayurveda on diet, daily routine and lifestyle. When Vata increases, problems like dryness, restlessness, gas, joint pain are seen in the body. Whereas increase in bile causes burning sensation, acidity, anger, sweating and skin related problems. In such a situation, to reduce this, it is advised to take cooling, digestible and fresh food. For this you can eat ghee, milk, rice, moong dal, bottle gourd, zucchini and cucumber.

Apart from this, one should avoid very spicy, sour, fried, excessive salt, tea, coffee and alcohol. It is important to have a healthy routine, eat and sleep on time and do light exercise. By adopting these measures continuously, you can gradually balance both Vata and Pitta.

Home remedies to reduce acne

Neem leaves- You can also adopt some home remedies to get relief from acne. Neem leaves are most effective for this. You have to boil it, then cool the water and wash your face with it 1-2 times a day. Neem has antibacterial properties, which help in reducing acne.

Aloe vera gel – Aloe vera gel also has antibacterial and anti-inflammation properties, which help in reducing facial blemishes as well as acne. For this, apply fresh aloe vera gel on pimples at night. It reduces swelling and also lightens the scars.

Turmeric and sandalwood –Turmeric and sandalwood paste is also very beneficial. Make a paste by adding a pinch of turmeric and rose water to sandalwood powder and apply it on the face twice a week. Very soon your acne will start reducing.

Attention to food – To get relief from acne, it is important to pay attention to diet. For this you do not have to eat a lot of fried, spicy and junk food. Instead of this, eat green vegetables and fruits. Also drink as much water as possible.
