After this, Mother Yashoda did penance to Lord Shri Hari Vishnu, the sustainer of the world, to have a child. Lord Vishnu was pleased with the penance of Mother Yashoda and appeared before her.
Lord Vishnu said, O Yashoda! You can ask for whatever boon you want from me. After this Mother Yashoda said to God, Oh God! My penance will be complete and successful only when you meet me as a child. Then Lord Vishnu smiled and said that your wish will be fulfilled in Dwapar Yoga. I will be born in the house of Vasudev and Devaki in Dwapar Yuga, but you will be my nurturer.
After this, time passed and the same happened as Lord Vishnu had told Mother Yashoda. Lord Vishnu incarnated as Shri Krishna in Dwapara Yuga. Born as the eighth child of Lord Mother Devaki and Vasudev. After this, to protect the life of Bal Gopal Shri Krishna from Kansa, Vasudev left him in Gokul, the house of Nand and Mother Yashoda.
Then Lord Shri Krishna was brought up by Mother Yashoda. According to Srimad Bhagwat, the grace of God which Mother Yashoda received, could not be received by Brahma ji, Mahadev or even Mother Lakshmi.
