The latest bulletproof car in his collection is a Mercedes-BenzMaybach GLS600. This SUV is priced at a whopping Rs 3.39 crore (ex-showroom). With the bullet-proof armouring, the cost of this luxury car would have shot easily above Rs 5 crore. Many celebrities in India are proud owners of the Maybach GLS 600, but Salman is probably the first to get it as bulletproof.
Recently, the Dabangg actor was seen in his Maybah GLS600. The images have been shared by Car Crazy India on their Instagram page. An image circulating on social media shows a Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 SUV with Salman Khan seated in the front passenger seat. The post suggests that this is his new Mercedes-Benz GLS600 SUV. However, a closer look at the windshield in the second image reveals a registration sticker marked with the year 2024.

The flagship Merc in the GLS range, the Maybach GLS600 comes loaded with all the bells and whistles such as lounge-style seating, a panoramic sunroof, a rear-seat entertainment package, a compact refrigerator, a Burmester audio system, a virtual assistant, and much more. The luxury SUV rolls on 22-inch alloy wheels available as standard with the option to upgrade to 23-inch wheels.
Other notable features included in the Maybach GLS600 are adaptive air suspension, automatically extending side steps, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, etc. Powering the luxury SUV is a 4.0-litre V8 turbocharged petrol engine that kicks out 550 bhp and 730 Nm of peak torque. This motor is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels via Mercedes’ 4Matic AWD system. In terms of performance, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.9 seconds and clock a top speed of 250 kmph.
