Indian team’s main spinner Kuldeep Yadav believes that England’s wicket i.e. pitch is helpful for spinners. He said during the ‘intra squad’ practice match, the wicket (pitch) is good for spinners. It is also good for batting. There was moisture on the first day, fast bowlers got help but as the game progressed, spinners dominated the match. Let us tell you that the five-match Test series between India and England will start on June 20. The first match will be played at Headingley.

After Ashwin, Jadeja and Kuldeep will have responsibility.
After the retirement of experienced Ravichandran Ashwin, Indian team spinner Kuldeep Yadav expects a better performance from himself on the England tour. He is spending a lot of time with Ravindra Jadeja and practicing. After Ashwin’s retirement, Jadeja will have more responsibility as he has the experience of playing 12 Test matches in England while Kuldeep has bowled only nine overs in a Test in this country.
Kuldeep’s big claim about the pitch
The Indian team has not won any Test series in England since 2007 and experts believe that the team will need Kuldeep’s contribution to do so. He may not be a part of the playing 11 in the opening match to be played in Leeds but can prove to be effective on the grounds of Birmingham, Lord’s, and Oval. Kuldeep said that he expects some assistance from the pitch during the five-match series. He said, ‘There is bounce for spinners on this pitch. Today is the third day, I have to bowl now. The ball is turning a bit and I hope it will be the same during the series.’
Kuldeep is impressed with Shubman’s behavior.
During this, Kuldeep also talked about the new captain of the Test team, Shubman Gill. He said- ‘Shubman knows how to lead. He has worked with many captains, especially Rohit Bhai, and has learned from them. What I have seen so far is very inspiring. He is focusing on lifting the spirit of the team. He is ready for this work.’
