India A vs Namibia: India A has once again registered a strong victory in the warm-up match of the T20 World Cup. In the match played in Bengaluru, India A defeated Namibia by 130 runs. Batting first, India scored 197 runs in 20 overs, in reply Namibia was bundled out for just 67 runs. The interesting thing is that the Indian team destroyed the opponent in just 12.1 overs. India’s young bowlers did not allow three Namibian players to open their account and only two players could reach double figures. While batting, Riyan Parag scored a strong half-century and this player scored 69 runs in 39 balls. Meaning the Namibian team could not even cross Riyan Parag’s score.

India A did not have a good start against Namibia. Priyansh Arya was out after scoring only 5 runs. Urvil Patel scored 14 runs. But after this, Naman Dheer and Riyan Parag put pressure on Namibia by forming a tremendous partnership. Naman scored 39 runs in 29 balls, 3 sixes came off his bat. Riyan Parag put Namibia’s bowlers under pressure by hitting 6 sixes and 5 fours. Captain Ayush Badoni was out after scoring 4 runs but Ashutosh Sharma played an inning of 35 runs in 21 balls, taking the team to 197 runs.

Namibia had a bad start while chasing the target of 198 runs. Opener Steenkamp was dismissed on the first ball itself. Left arm pacer Gurjapneet Singh dismissed him on the first ball. He also dismissed Malan Kruger on the second ball. Mayank Yadav did not allow Namibian captain Gerard Ericsson to open the account. Namibia lost 6 wickets for 29 runs in the powerplay. Namibia lost 8 wickets till the 8th over. Within no time, Namibia’s team was reduced to 73 balls.
