New Delhi: Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups is creating massive buzz even before its release. The film has just smashed records by selling its Andhra Pradesh and Telangana theatrical distribution rights for a whopping Rs 120 crore—the highest ever for a non-Telugu origin movie in these states.
This blockbuster deal signals sky-high expectations for Yash’s pan-India action spectacle, set to hit screens on March 19, 2026.
Record-breaking deal details
Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC), led by producer Dil Raju, grabbed the rights after a fierce bidding war with three major players. This Rs 120 crore figure beats all previous records for films not originally in Telugu, showing Yash’s huge pull in Telugu markets post-KGF Chapter 2 success.
Trade experts view it as a big thumbs-up to the film’s content and business potential. Yash’s stardom, combined with top-notch production, has distributors lining up across India.
Dil Raju’s excitement
Dil Raju shared his thoughts on the deal: “Yash stands as a formidable titan of Indian cinema, and post KGF 2, his market has only grown stronger across the world. The anticipation for his next film has been building steadily, and after a four-year wait, expectations are sky-high. We at SVC are thrilled to present this prestigious project and look forward to collaborating with Yash on many more films in the future.”
