Police found IMEI numbers of used and sold mobiles
Ghaziabad Police, which is investigating the case, has obtained the IMEI numbers of the mobile phones used by the girls and later sold. An official said on Friday that now these devices will be tracked and data will be extracted.

Police are trying to find out whether the girls were associated with any task-based online game or application. However, no concrete evidence of the use of Korean task-based applications has been found so far. According to the postmortem report, all three girls had serious head injuries. Police sources said that his ribs were broken due to the fall and there was severe damage to his internal organs.
Interrogation of father and mother for 2 hours
On Thursday, the police interrogated the girls’ father Chetan Kumar and his wife for about 2 hours. This inquiry was done to re-understand the events and to connect the links of the case. In the initial investigation, an 8-page pocket diary was found in the sisters’ room. There are indications of deep attachment to Korean culture and family tension.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Nimish Patil, father Chetan Kumar had bought a mobile phone for Nishika about three months ago and for Prachi 15 days ago. He told that seeing the daughters’ increasing inclination towards Korean culture, the father snatched both the phones and later sold them.
Police will recover the phones after identifying the buyers
The DCP said that the first step of the police would be to identify the buyers of the mobile phones and recover the devices. After this, the data will be extracted and it will be investigated what kind of games or apps were being used. Officials said that the financial condition of the family is also being monitored during the investigation. This includes investigation into alleged property dealings, loans and other financial aspects.
Father’s claim: Used to play online games all night long
While talking to the media, Chetan Kumar claimed that his daughters were greatly influenced by Korean culture and used to play task-based online games till late night. The girls had even changed their names to Korean names and were in contact with Korean friends online.
