Actress Payal Ghosh has now shared a heartbreaking note on social media, mourning the loss of her college friend, Preity Chatterjee, who was among the victims of the devastating incident.

The crash occurred in the Meghaninagar area near Ahmedabad airport, shortly after take-off. Actress Payal Ghosh expressed her sorrow by sharing a message on her Instagram story: “RIP Preity. My condolences to the Chatterjee family. #ahmedabadplanecrash.”
According to the Free Press Journal, Payal revealed that she knew Preity was flying to London and immediately checked with her family after hearing the news. “Unfortunately, their silence itself told everything. I am absolutely in shock. She has been a friend of mine since my college days, and I simply can’t believe that she is no more.”
