West Indies confirmed to play their first-ever bilateral T20I series against Nepal

On Friday, June 13, Cricket (CWI) came up with an announcement that their senior men’s side will be clashing against the associate nation Nepal in Sharjah for the first-time ever in September 2025. Nepal will be the hosts as they will gear up for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier, which will take place this year.

In the previous T20 World Cup edition held in 2024, Nepal qualified for the group stage. However, they couldn’t win any game after their four outings. Talking about their upcoming three T20 Internationals (T20I) against the Caribbean side, it will be held on September 27, 28, and 30.

On the massive occasion, CWI CEO Chris Dehring issued a statement and felt proud of Nepal’s intention to host the series. ‘Supporting Nepal in this key phase of their cricketing journey not only builds the sport at the grassroots and international levels but also reminds us of the deep pride and honour associated with representing our nation and wearing our national colours. We are proud to stand with Nepal at this moment in their history and look forward to exciting and competitive cricket in Sharjah,’ read Dehring’s statement.

West Indies to host Australia from June 25 to July 28

West Indies haven’t been upto the mark recently. They registered a humiliating 6-0 defeat in a white-ball series in . Following the drubbing at the hands of the English team, the Windies side are engaged in a three-match T20I competition against Ireland.

Following this assignment, West Indies will host from June 25 to July 28. During the tour, the two-time T20 World Cup champions will lock horns against Aussies in three Tests followed by five T20Is. After Australia, Pakistan will also visit the Caribbean islands for six white-ball matches to be played between July 31 to August 12.
