Himachal Pradesh ranked among top 10 Most welcoming places on Earth

New Delhi: Himachal Pradesh has been ranked among th world’s 10 most welcoming places by the recent Traveller Review Awards released by Booking.com. It has also gained the position of being on top as India’s most welcoming region for the third consecutive year, as per the data released by the travel platform.

The hill state of India has been ranked among the best with Europe and other parts of the globe, for being recognised as positively welcoming guests for the past year. Globally, Italy continues to lead for the ninth consecutive year with 214,666 award-winning partners, followed by France (170,596) and Spain (152,292). Germany (111,685) and the United Kingdom (93,989) round out the top five.

Within India, Himachal Pradesh has been ranked top among the most welcoming places for the third year in a row, ahead of Kerala and Goa. Bir in Kangra valley was also named as the most welcoming city in India for the second year, with Maraikulam in Kerala and Jaisalmer in Rajasthan.
