WPL 2026: Prize money for winning team and runners up, Orange and Purple Cap holders

New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bengaluru bagged their second Women’s Premier League title with a six-wicket victory over Delhi Capitals here on Thursday. DC suffered yet another heartbreak after falling at the final hurdle for a fourth consecutive time in what proved to be a thrilling final going down to the last over.

RCB overcame the 204-run target in 19.4 overs thanks to captain Smriti Mandhana (87 off 41) and Georgia Voll (79 off 54) who shared a record 165-run stand for the second wicket and the rest was done by Radha Yadav who scored 12 off just 5 balls to help the side cross the finish line with two balls to spare.

Delhi Capitals had done well to post 203 for four in the first innings with contributions from Laura Wolvaardt (44 off 25) and captain Jemimah Rodrigues (57 off 37) but the side could not back their score well in the second innings due to some lackluster bowling and fielding placement, especially in the final over.

Prize Money

The winning team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru which bagged the title for the second time, will take home a hefty prize money of Rs 6 crore while the Delhi Capitals, which suffered their fourth heartbreak in a row, will earn Rs 3 crore.
