Chhattisgarh Naxal Attack: In Chhattisgarh, 20 Naxalites of Rs 33 lakhs surrendered to the security forces. It is being told that they have surrendered due to attacks on tribals and differences in the organization. These will be provided rehabilitation.

20 naxalites surrender in chhattisgarh: In Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, 20 Naxalites, a prize of Rs 33 lakh, surrendered to the security forces. These include 9 women. The surrender include members of the Battalion No.1 of the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA). Regarding this, Sukma Superintendent of Police Kiran Chavan said, “These Naxalites have surrendered due to the attacks on innocent tribals and increasing differences in the banned organization.” The surrender took place in the presence of senior police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officials.

Among those who surrendered, Sharmila alias Uika (25 years) and Tati Kosi alias Parmila (20 years) had a reward of Rs 8-8 lakh. Similarly, a reward of Rs 5 lakh was declared on Dalam Commander Muchaki Hidma (54 years). There was a reward of 4-4 lakh rupees on four other Naxalites and the rest of Rs 1-1 lakh. All those who surrendered were given Rs 50,000 as initial help. According to government policy, they will be rehabilitated. SP Kiran Chavan appealed to all those associated with the illegal Maoist organization to quit violence and said that the government would give them a safe and respectable life. He informed that facilities will be provided to those who surrender under the rehabilitation scheme to become education, employment and self -sufficient.
