Joju about not getting accepted by his peers in Mollywood
Joju revealed that despite his dedication, he often felt overlooked by peers in his home industry.
“I worked very hard to shape my roles to perfection. I always expected people from the industry to tell me how I performed in all my films. However, from my own field, very few (my co-workers) appreciated my roles and work,” he shared. “I struggled to share my film posters with celebrities; most of the time, I was misunderstood. Many media persons and co-workers hurt me deeply. But today, I’m so happy to have received such appreciation from Kamal Sir—it made my day. ‘Joseph’ made me happy, while the rest is just a bonus. As a human being, I feel satisfied and fulfilled through his words. Thug Life is a memorable experience for me, and working with everyone on it was remarkable.”
He also thanked director Mani Ratnam for believing in him.“The opportunity to work with Mani Ratnam Sir was a huge honour. I dedicate all this appreciation to those who supported me during tough times.”
