Ghaziabad: Days after a shocking incident came to light regarding the suicide of three sisters in Ghaziabad, a new revelation has come to light. These three sisters were influenced by a Korean drama. They used to watch this drama all day and night.
Three girls adopted names from Korean drama
The three deceased girls had even adopted their names Maria, Aliza, and Cindy. They had even created a social media account that gained a significant number of followers. Days before their deaths by suicide, their father found out about it. He then deleted the account, and confiscated their phones.
They were deeply distressed by this, as they could no longer watch the Korean drama. According to the police, the father was struggling with financial difficulties and had a debt of Rs 2 crore. He had even sold the mobile phones due to financial constraints, and used the money he received to recharge the prepaid electricity meter for the house, costing around Rs 800.
Father had two wives, both sisters
Sharing further details, the police said that the father was upset by this and said that he would arrange for their marriage soon. This too left the girls unhappy. Their father, Chetan, had two sisters, both of whom are sisters. While he had a son and daughter from his first marriage, he had three daughters from his second marriage. He was already married to his first wife for 17 years when he married her sister, the police added.
The police suspect that several reasons might be the reason behind dying by suicide. While mobile addiction might be a major reason, their addiction to the Korean sister might also be the reason behind the extreme step. Chetan’s 14-year-old son from first wife is mentally challenged. Taking care of his health also became problem for the family, the police added.
