Ravi Pradosh Fast 2026: In Sanatan Dharma, the god of gods, Mahadev is considered the god of destruction. Trayodashi date of Krishna and Shukla Paksha of every month has been dedicated to him. According to Drik Panchang, today the auspicious time of Pradosh Kaal for worshiping Lord Shiva will start at 7.22 pm. This puja auspicious time will last till 9.24 pm. It is believed that worshiping and anointing Shiva as per rituals during Pradosh period gives special results.

- On the day of Ravi Pradosh fast, wake up early in the morning, take bath and take a pledge to fast.
- Adopt a sattvik lifestyle and keep meditating on Lord Shiva throughout the day.
- During Pradosh period, anoint Shivalinga with proper rituals.
- After this, offer Belpatra, flowers and food to Bholenath.
- Chant Om Namah Shivay mantra during puja.
- Recite Shiva Chalisa or Shiva Aarti.
