In a rare and unfortunate incident during the IPL 2025 match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, Krunal Pandya was dismissed hit wicket.
This unusual mode of dismissal occurred as Pandya, attempting an aggressive shot, lost his balance and inadvertently dislodged the bails with his bat, leading to his dismissal.
This incident added to RCB’s woes in a match where they were already under pressure. SRH had posted a formidable total of 231/6, courtesy of Ishan Kishan’s unbeaten 94 off 48 balls . In response, RCB were bundled out for 189 runs, falling short by 42 runs.
