Yogi Adityanath government has announced the dates of written examination to be held under direct recruitment-2025 for reserved civil police and equivalent posts. According to the official information released by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) on Tuesday, the written examination of Constable Recruitment 2025 will be conducted on June 8, June 9 and June 10, 2026.
UP Police Constable Exam Date 2025: Exam will be held in three days, two shifts
The written examination of UP Police Constable Recruitment will be conducted in two shifts on all three days. The board has clarified that other important information related to the examination like examination centre, admit card and guidelines related to the examination will be released soon on the official website of UPPBPB. On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a lump sum relaxation of 3 years has been provided in the maximum age limit for constable recruitment 2025. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the interests of the candidates, so that those candidates who were earlier left out due to age limit will also be able to participate in the recruitment process.
Age Relaxation Rule: Decision implemented under government order
This age relaxation decision has been taken under Rule 3 of Uttar Pradesh Public Service (Relaxation of Age Limit for Recruitment) Rules-1992. This decision has been implemented through a government order issued on 5 January 2026 in continuation of the recruitment release issued on 31 December 2025.

It is noteworthy that in the year 2024, 60,244 constable posts were recruited in Uttar Pradesh Police, which was the largest police recruitment of the state government till date.
