According to the Hindu calendar, this year Phalgun Krishna Shashthi Tithi is starting on 7th February at 01:18 PM. This date will end on February 8 at 02:54 pm. Udayatithi is considered in Santan Dharma. In such a situation, according to the rules of Udayatithi, Yashoda Jayanti will be celebrated on 7th February in the year 2026.

On Yashoda Jayanti, take bath in the morning in Brahma Muhurta and wear clean clothes. After this, take a pledge to fast for Mother Yashoda. Then place a stool in the temple or holy place of the house and spread a red or yellow cloth on it. Place an idol or picture of child Shri Krishna along with Mother Yashoda on it. Light lamps and incense sticks during puja. Offer flowers, basil leaves, sandalwood, turmeric, kumkum and coconut.
Offer red chunari to Mother Yashoda. Offer butter and sugar candy to Lord Krishna and Mother Yashoda. Also offer fruits, curd, kheer and sweets. Chant the mantra Om Krishnaya Namah. Read the love story of Mother Yashoda-Krishna. Conclude the puja with aarti. Keep fast throughout the day. Have fruits after evening puja. Donate food or clothes to the needy.
