CM Mohan Yadav big decisions: The Council of Ministers took important decisions under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. Rs 15,009 crore were approved for the continuation of 2 irrigation projects worth Rs 620 crore and 10 schemes in Maihar-Katni.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was held in the Ministry on Tuesday. The Cabinet decided to provide free registration of residential plots allotted to the displaced people of Sardar Sarovar Project of Narmada Valley. As per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), the registration fee and storage duty will be reimbursed by the Narmada Valley Development Authority. This will benefit more than 25,600 families. This decision will impose a financial burden of Rs 600 crore on the state government.
Approval of 2 irrigation projects of Maihar and Katni districts
The Council of Ministers has approved Rs 620 crore 65 lakh for 2 irrigation projects in Maihar and Katni districts. As per the approval, Dhanavahi Micro Pressure Irrigation Project of Maihar and Katni costing Rs 53 crore 73 lakh has been approved. With this, irrigation facilities will be provided in 3500 hectares and 2810 farmers of 9 villages of Maihar and Katni districts will be benefited.
Barhi micro lift irrigation project of Katni district costing Rs 566 crore 92 lakh has been approved. With this, 11,500 farmers of 27 villages of Barhi and Vijayraghavgarh tehsil of Katni district will be benefited and irrigation facilities will be available in 20 thousand hectare area.
Approval of continuation of 10 schemes
- The Council of Ministers has approved more than Rs 15,009 crore for the continuation of 10 schemes of 6 departments from the year 2026-27 to the year 2030-31. According to the approval, Rs 115 crore 6 lakh for 8 publicly funded schemes of less than Rs 500 crore of Finance Department, Rs 5 thousand crore for Chief Minister Public Welfare (Sambal 2.0) Scheme of Labor Department, Assembly Constituency Election Scheme of Economic and Statistics Department and Rs 3 thousand 376 crore 66 lakh for establishment and office schemes, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Kamdhenu Scheme of Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department, Veterinary Science. Approval of Rs 6 thousand 472 crore 18 lakh has been given for University Jabalpur Block Grant Scheme and Animal Husbandry, Animal Development and Cow Promotion Scheme, Rs 24 crore 70 lakh for Kishore Kalyan Nidhi Scheme of Women and Child Development and Assistance Scheme for Domestic Violence Victims and Rs 21 crore for Minority Self-Employment/Enterprise Scheme of Backward Class and Other Welfare.
- Other decisions: The Council of Ministers gave approval to dissolve the Madhya Pradesh State Social Welfare Board and merge its employees in the Women and Child Development Department.
