Oppo Find X10, X10 Pro and Pro Max Key Specs Tipped: Pro Models May Use Dimensity 9600

For a while now, the assumption was that MediaTek might skip the Dimensity 9500 Plus altogether. Recent leaks seemed to suggest the company was moving straight ahead, leaving no room for an overclocked variant.

A new tip, however, adds a different angle to that story and points toward Oppo as a possible landing spot for the chip.

According to fresh information shared by well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the Dimensity 9500 Plus may still be in play and could power one of Oppo’s next-generation flagship phones later this year.

One Flagship Line, Multiple Processors

The leak describes a flagship lineup currently being tested with different MediaTek processors across its variants. While the post does not name the brand directly, it mentions a standard, Pro, and Pro Max setup, which closely matches earlier reports around Oppo’s upcoming Find X10 series.

Where the Dimensity 9500 Plus Fits In

The standard Find X10 is said to be under evaluation with the Dimensity 9500 Plus, reportedly built on a 3nm process. Meanwhile, the higher-end Pro and Pro Max models are tipped to move to a newer Dimensity 9600-series chip based on a 2nm process.

How This Aligns With Oppo’s Broader Playbook

Oppo has gradually mixed its silicon choices over the past few product cycles. MediaTek chips have become more common in non-Ultra flagships, while Snapdragon processors are often reserved for the most premium models in the lineup.

If this strategy carries over to the Find X10 series, it would not be surprising to see Oppo continue saving Snapdragon silicon for an eventual Ultra model, while relying on MediaTek’s latest offerings for the rest of the range.

Expected Timing and Other Oppo Launches

Early chatter suggests the Find X10 series could debut in China around October. Oppo is also expected to follow that up with a Find X10 Ultra a few months later, which may once again switch to Snapdragon hardware.

Before any of that happens, Oppo reportedly has a busy first half lined up. The Find X9 Ultra, Find X9s Pro, and the Find N6 foldable are tipped for a March launch in China. Current reports suggest the X9 Ultra and Find N6 could use Snapdragon’s next flagship chip, while the Find X9s Pro may rely on the Dimensity 9500.
