Big rule of test cricket changed
According to Law 12.5.2 of the Marylebone Cricket Club, play in Test cricket will not stop as soon as a wicket falls in the last over of the day. Usually it used to happen that if a wicket fell in the last over of the day, the match was stopped there itself. After this, the next day the batting team used to field the batsman as per their strategy. But according to MCC rules, if a wicket falls in the last over, the match will continue till the last ball of that day. This will further help the fielding team which is under pressure to gain control of the match or put pressure on the opponent. (News is being updated)
