Jarange announced to end the fast unto death
In fact, today Manoj Jarang had put some conditions before the state government before ending the movement. In which the main demand was to include the Kunbi caste in the Maratha society. The government has issued a gazette assuming the demand. Soon after, Jarage has also announced the end of the movement by abolishing the fast unto death. This initiative of the Fadnavis government will open the way for Maratha society for many opportunities. Also, the Maratha vote bank will now work in the government’s favor.

Who is Manoj Jarange Patil
Manoj Jarange was born on 1 August 1982 in Maharashtra. He is a star worker fighting for Maratha reservation. He belongs to an ordinary farmer family. Sometimes worked in hotels or sometimes Chinese factory. This is his 7th fast since 2023. Jarang first agitated for the Maratha society in 2021 in Pimphalgaon for 90 days. After this, Jaranga agitated for several days in Jalna in the month of August in 2023. He has taken a hunger strike in different areas several times between 2023 and 2025.
