Ingredients for making perfume from Madhumalati flowers
- 1 cup fresh Madhumalti flowers
- 1 cup distilled or boiled cold water
- 1 tablespoon food-grade glycerin
- 1 tsp vodka (to make the aroma last longer)

- Collect fresh and fully bloomed madhumalti flowers and remove the spoiled ones. Now wash the flowers with light water and dry the excess water.
- In a steel container, place an upside down bowl in the center and place an upright bowl on top of it. Then add Madhumalati flowers around the container.
- Pour about 1 glass of water over the flowers. Now close the container. After this, light the gas and place 2 big ice cubes in the lid.
- Due to the hot flame from below, steam will be formed in the container, while due to the ice cubes being on top, the steam will cool down and get collected in the bowl kept in the container. Keep the flame on high and let the water boil for about 4 to 5 minutes.
- You will see that the ice will dissolve in some time. As soon as the ice dissolves, turn off the gas. Take out the water that has collected in the bowl of the container and keep it to cool.
- Fill a glass spray bottle with water and use it like perfume.
- You can prepare perfume of rose, jasmine or any other flower like Madhumalati.
