Rohit Basfor, who appeared in the much-anticipated series ‘The Family Man 3’, has tragically passed away. The young actor from Assam lost his life during an outing with friends in the Garbhanga forest. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances of his death.
According to police reports, Rohit accidentally fell into a waterfall while enjoying a picnic. However, his family has raised concerns about the incident, suggesting there might be more to the story. Rohit had returned home just a few months ago after completing some work commitments.
What Happened During the Picnic?
Rohit had gone on a picnic with a group of nine friends. According to a Times Now report citing local news sources, he left home around 12:30 PM. After a short while, his phone became unreachable, causing panic among his friends and family.
Later, his friends informed the family about an accident. Rohit was rushed to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, doctors declared him dead upon arrival. Preliminary police investigations suggest that the accident occurred around 2 PM. Officials said they received a call around 4 PM and reached the site by 4:30 PM. The SDRF (State Disaster Response Force) team recovered Rohit’s body around 6:30 PM.
Different Versions: Family Raises Suspicions
While initial police findings indicate Rohit’s death was an accident, his family believes otherwise. According to them, Rohit was recently involved in a parking dispute, and they suspect foul play. The family has reportedly identified some individuals they believe could be connected to the incident.
The police have sent Rohit’s body for post-mortem examination, and further investigation is underway. Officials have emphasized that, as of now, there is no clear evidence of foul play.
