New Delhi: More than 1300 Sikh Youth from Punjab and areas around joined the Indian Army and are going through recruitment training at various centres.
This year again the Veterans and the Regiment togather have announced the return of their focused mentorship-and-training initiative aimed at transforming motivated aspirants into successful recruits. Rooted in the Khalsa martial legacy, the programme underscores the message: disciplined effort today can translate into wearing the uniform tomorrow.
Building on strong momentum from last year, the Veterans of the Sikh Regiment & Sikh Regiment team highlighted the initiative’s proven impact—having helped more than 1,300 aspirants progress toward recruitment. With that foundation, this year’s edition returns “stronger and more focused,” expanding structured guidance and emphasising everyday preparation as the decisive factor in achieving selection.
