NEW DELHI: India is all set to act tough against Pakistan. Permission to Pakistani ships and aircraft may be denied. Pakistani aircraft will be banned from entering Indian airspace.
Along with this, it is reported that a decision may be taken to prevent Pakistani ships from entering Indian ports. Pakistan had earlier banned Indian aircraft from entering its airspace.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said that there will be a retaliation from India after the Pahalgam terror attack. Khawaja Muhammad said in an interview that there will be a military strike from India soon. ‘The Pakistani army has informed the government about the possible attack from India. We have strengthened the army. We have taken the necessary policy decisions. We will use nuclear weapons only if our existence is threatened,’ Khawaja Muhammad Asif said.
26 people were killed in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. India had confirmed that two of the terrorists were Pakistanis. Actions including demolishing the houses of Kashmiri terrorists are underway.
Meantime, the NIA is continuing its investigation into the Pahalgam terror attack. The NIA has received the statement of a key eyewitness, a local resident who hid on a tree during the attack. He had seen the terrorists returning and had given information to the police. The NIA has also taken him to Baisaran Valley and collected evidence.
It is reported that the terrorists who carried out the Pahalgam attack entered India through the international border. It is indicated that they infiltrated by cutting the barbed wire fence and carried out the terrorist attack. They entered India through the Samba and Kathua areas. The group was led by Hussain Sheikh, who was trained to hide in the jungle. It has been found that they had earlier carried out attacks in Kulgam and Baramulla. The security forces suspect that the group is presently in the hills of Anantnag.
