Ehsan Malinga: There is not much time left for the start of T20 World Cup 2026 and before that the Sri Lankan team has suffered a big setback. Sri Lanka’s right-arm fast bowler Ishan Malinga has been injured and is out of the T20 World Cup 2026. According to Sri Lankan media report, Ehsaan Malinga has got injured during the T20 match against England and he will no longer be able to play the T20 World Cup. According to reports, Malinga’s shoulder is badly injured and it may take up to 6 weeks for him to recover.

Malinga is a wicket-taker

Ishan Malinga played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last IPL season, in which he took 13 wickets in 7 matches. His best performance was 3 wickets for 31 runs. After the IPL season, he started being rated very highly and now unfortunately he got injured just before the T20 World Cup.
