Today, India is moving rapidly towards becoming the third largest economy in the world. Under the strong, visionary and decisive leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the country is moving forward with the goal of “Developed India”. The Union Budget 2026-27 presented by Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman is the budget to realize this vision.
This budget opens doors to new possibilities of economic development, industrial expansion, investment promotion, employment generation and social empowerment for Madhya Pradesh. This will provide simple processes to industries, reliable environment to investors, employment to youth, economic empowerment to women, institutional support to MSME sector and better services to common citizens.

In the tourism sector, the scheme for skill upgradation of 10 thousand tourist guides in collaboration with IIM will be helpful in connecting the youth with employment. At the same time, through Khelo India Mission, a target has been set to change the scenario of sports in the next decade. The expansion of the service sector will open new opportunities of employment and entrepreneurship for young India. The allocation of Rs 10 thousand crore in MSME Growth Fund for women is a big step towards women empowerment.
Promotion of women entrepreneurship and Lakhpati Didi scheme
To encourage women entrepreneurship, under Lakhpati Didi Scheme, women entrepreneurs will be linked with credit link livelihood to enterprise ownership. Madhya Pradesh is already making concrete efforts in this direction, which will further strengthen the economic self-reliance of women.
