New Delhi: Just like cars there are several new motorcycles scheduled to arrive in the Indian market during February and March 2026. These models cover different segments, from adventure bikes to sport machines and retro roadsters.
The first quarter of 2026 looks busy for motorcycle buyers in India. From affordable adventure bikes like the XPulse 421 to premium options such as the BMW F 450 GS and Brixton Storr, there will be choices for almost every type of rider.
Hero XPulse 421

Hero MotoCorp is preparing a bigger and more powerful version of the XPulse. The new XPulse 421 will use a fresh single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with an estimated capacity of 421 cc. Power output is expected to be between 35 bhp and 40 bhp. The focus of this motorcycle will be strong low-end torque so that it performs well on rough roads and trails.
The engine is likely to come with a six-speed gearbox, and Hero may add a slip and assist clutch to make riding easier in traffic and during long off-road rides.
Yamaha R7

Yamaha plans to bring the YZF-R7 to India, a middle-weight sport bike already popular in global markets. It uses the company’s well-known 689 cc CP2 parallel-twin engine, the same unit found in the MT-07 and Ténéré 700. It is capable of producing 73.4 PS at 8,750 rpm and 67 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Although the power figures remain the same as before, Yamaha has added a ride-by-wire throttle system. This technology should give smoother throttle response and better control across different riding conditions.
Hero Karizma XMR 250

Hero is also expanding the Karizma range with a 250 cc version. The Karizma XMR 250 will share its engine with the Xtreme 250R. This liquid-cooled engine makes 29.5 bhp at 9,250 rpm and 25 Nm at 7,250 rpm. It will be paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch. According to Hero, the related Xtreme 250R can reach 0 to 60 kmph in 3.25 seconds, which gives an idea of the performance.
The bike will use a tubular trellis frame, upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock, making it more modern than the older Karizma models. The expected price range is Rs 2.00 lakh to Rs 2.20 lakh (ex-showroom), placing it against other quarter-litre sports bikes.
Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr
Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr
The Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr is a new adventure-style motorcycle aimed at the premium segment. It runs on a 486 cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine producing 47 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 43 Nm at 6,750 rpm with a six-speed gearbox.
It is equipped with all-LED lights, auxiliary fog lamps, a 7-inch vertical TFT display, tyre pressure monitoring system, dual-channel ABS and switchable traction control. However, it does not provide smartphone connectivity, navigation or riding modes, which many rivals now offer. The expected price is Rs 5.5 lakh to Rs 6.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
Royal Enfield Bullet 650
Royal Enfield Bullet 650
Royal Enfield is preparing a bigger Bullet based on its 650 platform. The Bullet 650 will use the familiar 647.9 cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine seen in the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. This engine delivers 46 bhp and 52 Nm, connected to a six-speed gearbox with slip-and-assist clutch. Mechanically it remains the same as the other 650 models, but the styling will follow the classic Bullet design.
The motorcycle is expected to cost around Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom), while some estimates suggest a range between Rs 2.80 lakh and Rs 2.90 lakh.
KTM 390 SMC R
KTM will add a supermoto-style bike to its 390 range. The 390 SMC R uses the 399 cc single-cylinder engine from the 390 Duke. In Europe the output is 44.9 hp, slightly lower than the 46 hp of the India-spec Duke. When launched here, it is likely to produce the full 46 hp.
The bike comes with a single-piece seat at 860 mm height and weighs only 154 kg (wet, without fuel), making it 11 kg lighter than the 390 Duke. This low weight should make it very agile in city and twisty roads. The expected price is Rs 3.30 lakh to Rs 3.60 lakh.

BMW Motorrad is entering the smaller adventure segment with the F 450 GS. It uses a new 420 cc parallel-twin engine developed together with TVS Motor Company. The engine produces 48 bhp at 8,750 rpm and 43 Nm at 6,750 rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox. BMW will offer a factory quickshifter on all variants except the base model. This bike will compete with other mid-capacity adventure motorcycles and is aimed at touring enthusiasts.
BSA Scrambler 650
BSA has launched the Scrambler 650 in the UK and it may reach India later. It uses the same 652 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine as the Gold Star 650. Output figures are 45 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 55 Nm at 4,000 rpm, with a five-speed gearbox.
The Scrambler version receives small changes for better low-end response and more versatility on mixed roads. In the UK it is priced at GBP 5,999, which equals about Rs 7 lakh. The company has not yet confirmed Indian launch plans or pricing.
CFMoto 450 MT
The CFMoto 450 MT is an adventure motorcycle built around a 449.5 cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. The engine produces 44.18 PS at 8,500 rpm and 44 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. Paired with a six-speed manual gearbox along with a slipper clutch, making downshifts smoother and more controlled.
The 450 MT is equipped with an electronic fuel injection system and is compatible with E20 fuel. It is expected to be priced between Rs 4.00 lakh and Rs 4.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
Note: The exact prices and final specifications will become clear as closer to the official launch dates.
