3000+ teachers working on fake certificates in Bihar will be removed. There will be an FIR against these teachers appointed between 2006-2015 and their salaries will also be recovered. This decision has been taken after vigilance investigation.
Patna: More than 3000 school teachers working on the basis of fake certificates in Bihar will now lose their jobs. Bihar government has taken this big decision after the investigation report of Vigilance Bureau. State Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari gave this information. He told that these are those teachers who got jobs between 2006 and 2015 on the basis of fake degrees.
These teachers will not only be fired from the job, but a criminal case will also be registered against them. The government has ordered that the entire salary and other benefits taken during service will be recovered from them along with interest. On the basis of Vigilance investigation, FIR has already been registered against the guilty teachers. Investigation has revealed that there was large-scale rigging in the restoration, in which certificates made in the name of fake institutions were used.
Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari made it clear that this action is part of the ‘zero tolerance’ policy of the central and state governments against corruption. He also said that the NDA government led by Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary will not tolerate any kind of irregularities. Let us tell you that the order to investigate this matter was given by the then Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Meanwhile, Education Department officials told another interesting thing. He said that some teachers tried to escape by resigning just before the departmental action began. But officials have made it clear that even those who resign will not be spared. Strict departmental action will be taken against them including recovery of salary.
