In Bengaluru, a domestic help murdered a 65-year-old woman and committed suicide. The incident came to light when the woman’s NRI husband returned home. Police are investigating the case from the angle of attempted sexual assault.
Bengaluru: The daughter was sleeping on the first floor and the mother was fighting for her life below. When the NRI husband returned home, he found the bodies of his wife and domestic help. This tragic incident took place in KAS Colony near Silk Road in Bengaluru. A 65 year old woman was murdered. A migrant laborer who had been working in his house for a long time was also found dead inside the house. This incident that shocked Bengaluru happened yesterday morning at around 4:30 am. According to the police, a 50-year-old man named Devaraju, who was a servant in this house for a long time, committed suicide after committing the murder. However, the police said that investigation is going on whether he got help from anyone else in the murder. The husband of the 65-year-old woman who was killed was in Dubai.

At the time of the incident, the 27-year-old daughter of a 65-year-old woman was in her room on the first floor of the house. When the NRI husband returned home and rang the calling bell, the 27-year-old daughter came downstairs to open the door. Then he came to know about this incident that happened at home. Seeing the terrible scene inside, the daughter started screaming. The NRI also got upset. Hearing the sound, people nearby also gathered. The body of a 65-year-old woman was found in the ground floor bedroom. The domestic servant was found hanging in the same room. Mico Layout police is investigating the incident. The bodies of the servant and the 65-year-old woman have been sent for postmortem. Police have indicated that preliminary investigation has found evidence of attempted sexual assault.
