Police permission will also be necessary to get loudspeakers from the tent house.
Police instructions have stated that the sound level in public places will be limited to maximum 10 DB (A). The sound of a private -owned sound system should not exceed 5 DB (A) from the prescribed limit. In the instructions, 75DB of voice is allowed in the industrial area from 6 am to 10 pm and 70DB of sound measure from 10 am to 6 am.
Apart from this, the permission of 55DB voice has been fixed in the residential area from 6 am to 10 pm and 45DB of sound measure from 10 am to 6 am. In the Silence Zone, 50DB voice is allowed from 6 am to 10 pm. At the same time, the scale of 40DB sound has been fixed from 10 am to 6 am.
Instructions also given to tent people
The order issued by the Delhi Police states that all tents, loudspeakers and generator suppliers should be given clear instructions not to give equipment to users without the written permission of the local police. The district DCP should ensure that suppliers comply with this requirement, and take legal action against the suppliers who do not comply.
Fines will be imposed on breaking the rules
The Delhi Police has also fixed the fine for breaking the rules. The improper use of loudspeaker public address system will be fined Rs 10,000 and the devices will be seized. DG sets will be fined according to the rules capacity.
100000 rupees on more than 1000 kva, 25000 thousand rupees at 62.5 – 1000 kva, 10000 rupees on 62.5 kva and a fine on using construction equipment will be a seizure or sealing of Rs 50000 and equipment will be seized or sealing.
