Gen Z Budget: From scattered information to smart system, AI is not a tool, it is a teammate

artifical Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has raised great hopes of completely changing the way of working. Today, teams in almost every organization are adopting AI tools that promise faster and better results. But the big question is how to make AI reliable, collaborative and usable on a large scale? How to transform scattered tools, teams and information into a system that really works? Atlassian Team on Tour: Bengaluru 2025 was organized to find answers to these questions, and from the discussions held there, it was clear that solutions were visible to a great extent in this direction.

Through keynote sessions, live demos and hands-on workshops from Atlassian Rovo Studio, it was shown that by combining Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management and Teamwork Collection, a system of work can be created on which AI can easily search, understand and automate the work.

AI becomes companion from concept

In the opening keynote, Atlassian leaders made it clear that AI is not an extra feature, but a part of the work. That was the theme of the entire event. AI as a trusted teammate. This time the most talked about thing was Rovo, which is Atlassian’s AI layer and connects search, chat, agents and automation.

Venkatesh Sarov, an experienced Atlassian user, said that earlier such events were based on tools and templates, now the focus is on creating smart agents that can actually work. With Rovo, users can create agents as per their needs, ask questions and set up automations.

From scattered information to a system

Many participants agreed that the biggest problem is the dispersion of information. Productivity falls due to information scattered across different teams and tools. AI makes the work easier by bringing this information in one place. By combining Jira and Confluence, a system is now being created where documentation, ticketing and workflow all run together.

Rovo Studio: from talk to action

In Rovo Studio’s workshop, people created their own AI agents. Many participants said that it is very easy and understandable even for beginners. Now AI is not limited to just speeches, but seems to be becoming a part of everyday work.

AI and governance on a large scale

The second part of the day discussed how proper governance, permissions and role-based access are necessary to adopt AI in large organizations. Atlassian’s cloud platform helps in this, where different users get access according to their role.

From curiosity to need

If last year’s event was full of curiosity, this year the atmosphere seemed more serious and practical. Customers are asking now. When and how to implement AI? This event of Bengaluru 2025 is being seen as a turning point where what questions should be raised regarding AI? How quickly to change from? It is done.
