
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee met Imams on Wednesday. Mamta also gave his address in this meeting at Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata. He targeted the BJP over violence in Bengal against Waqf law. Mamta Banerjee said that you (Central Government) want to eliminate the State Waqf Board. Violence has been done in the state under the scheme. There was a plan to riot on Ramnavami. But it was failed.
Mamta Banerjee attacked the government
CM Mamta said that just as I have no right over the property of others, similarly you have no right in the name of law, you can claim someone’s property given in the name of religion. The TMC chief said that today people who are flouting the Constitution are not the Constitution of BJP, but the Constitution of India. I respect the Imams. I respect Ramakrishna, Vivekananda, Rabindranath, Nazrul. Do not spread violence in Bengal in the name of BJP.
Mamta Banerjee further said that Mahatma Gandhi was in Calcutta when freedom was being celebrated at midnight. Every person contributes to the development of West Bengal. According to Act 26 of the Constitution, every person has the right to fulfill his religion.
CM said that I challenge the Government of India that in view of Bangladesh, when you know that Bengal is a border state. Why did you have so soon? You held a meeting with Younus. All this is in the hands of the center. The border is in the hands of the center. There is information that people came from across the border. Then the question arises as to why you allowed them to come. What were you planning? Do not divide the country, unite the country.
This appeal to PM Modi
Mamta Banerjee also targeted Home Minister Amit Shah during this period. He said that Amit Shah cut the branch of the tree like Kalidas on which you are sitting. Amit Shah will not be able to become Prime Minister. I request PM Modi to control them. All agencies are in their hands.
The Chief Minister of West Bengal said that fundamental rights have been withdrawn. This law is against federalism. I tell the India alliance that we all fight together. This can also happen to you. I do not want you to call Mamta Zindabad, India, Constitution Zindabad.
Mamta said that we have neither supported the bill nor will we do it now. There was a plan to riot on Ramnavami. You failed the plan. Do not harm our property. As long as I am here, no Hindu will be Muslim.
