India: Defense budget increased after Operation Sindoor
India ranks fourth in the world in terms of spending on defence. Today, after the budget increase of Rs 1.04 lakh crore on February 1, India’s defense budget is about 85 billion dollars i.e. Rs 7.84 lakh crore, which is 15% more than last year. The defense budget has been increased after Operation Sindoor. This is the biggest increase in the last 10 years. Make in India, focus is on indigenous weapons. Army, Air Force and Navy all three are being strengthened.
