New Delhi: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Sunday presented the Union Budget 2026 in Parliament. She announced several sops for poll bound states like Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. Following the budget presentation, several items and services will get cheaper, while others will be costlier.
What gets cheaper?
Here are the items which will become cheaper following Sunday’s Budget.

However there are several items which will get dearer with the new budget. These include
