Why was there a need to tie the seized vehicle like this?
Police say the car was handcuffed for security reasons. To temporarily secure the vehicle parked in the police station premises, handcuffs were attached to the wheel on one side and the rear seat handle on the other side. Later this handcuff was replaced with chain. Although people found this method a bit strange and funny, the police are calling it a temporary arrangement.
We have become ‘Jugaad Pradhan’ like this.
